MUSIC WE'RE LIVIN' WITH
This wonderful band reminds me of the soundtrack for Trees Lounge. It’s somewhere between dark bar music and alone with a lover music. 
This video is a great primer to their music. Timber timbre own the mood, and it can be a beautifully heavy one. Love them.
There's nothing more fantastical than receiving a mixtape in the mail (ok, maybe getting a ModPlexi frame or address plaque, but that's it, nothing else). A guaranteed smile on your face. I swear there could be a whole psychology created around 'mixtape philosophy.' I think it speaks volumes about the person who made it, the person who receives it, and the relationship between all parties involved. A mixtape is like a time capsule; capturing moment and mood. This is my ongoing mixtape.
