ModPlexi is a 2 woman creative team – Wendy & Melissa – all about mid century modern style. We create address plaques and frames out of plexiglas. This is our “side blog” and it’s all about music, because after all, who doesn’t love music? It is deeply embedded in our lives and our creative. Mixtapes always bring smiles and enlightenment.
LIFE IS A MIXTAPE
There's nothing more fantastical than receiving a mixtape in the mail (ok, maybe getting a ModPlexi frame or address plaque, but that's it, nothing else). A guaranteed smile on your face. I swear there could be a whole psychology created around 'mixtape philosophy.' I think it speaks volumes about the person who made it, the person who receives it, and the relationship between all parties involved. A mixtape is like a time capsule; capturing moment and mood. This is my ongoing mixtape.
